Loving someone and losing them will never feel like an even transaction. It isn’t. And trying to understand where the balance lies is exhausting. The only thing I suppose one can do is exactly what Semanki suggests – find that moment, that one moment you spent with that person where everything was perfect, and let that memory exist stronger than the present.
Nothing is ever lost if we don’t let go of it.
